Great movie based on the true story of Charlie Wilson who pretty much singlehandedly won support for the covert CIA operation in Afghanistan to turn back the Soviet occupation. There are some pretty hilarious bits - a little over the top at times - but the parts shot overseas have a pretty authentic feel [...]

Quite simply one of the best books ever written about the events leading up to the formation of Al Qaeda and the 9/11 attacks; I recommend it highly.
