TechShop Menlo Park Open House 5/31/08

Geek heaven. Open house on Saturday. Check it out if you’re near Menlo Park. Guy Kawasaki has a blog post with lots of photos to give you an idea of what it is all about.
I’d be there with boy if we lived up north; maybe the cousin will make it there. Boy wants to go into robotics and change the world when he grows up. He recently bought a broken iRobot at a yard sale for $5 and we’ve worked through some of the projects in the JunkBots book so we’d definitely be there if it was close by. We’re waiting for the LA and SD locations to open up.
