A Convenient Tooth

So I recently got a new laptop (Dell D830) with Bluetooth and happened to have also upgraded my phone to one (LG VX8350) to one with Bluetooth. Along with the phone I purchased an inexpensive BT earpiece ($10 after discounts). It occurred to me that I might be able to use the earpiece with Skype to free me up from talking into my laptop or desktop when I make calls, but thought I’d have to install some app to make it work. Turns out all you have to do is pair up your BT device with the laptop and then when you connect it becomes the audio input / output device for Skype; nothing else required! My cheap earpiece covers about 70% of the house before it gets kind of scratchy. Nice!
I’m thinking of getting the Motorola T820 so I can listen to music and have phone calls cut in when they come through:
