I recall when I lived in Germany a friend told me that briefer is better, and illustrated it with two ways to say the same thing, which I know you will appreciate:
a. "Die Qualitaet and die Quantitaet des Agrarproduktes ist
reziprok-proporzionel zum intellektuellen Kapazitaet des Landwirschaftlers."
or:
b. "Die Dummsten Bauer ernten die dicksten Kartoffel."
